The Artist
Born in Beirut in 1975, Richard Saad trained as an architect at the American University of Beirut, where he received the Areen Award of Excellence in Architecture. He went on to work at Bernard Khoury Architects before joining Nabil Gholam Architects, where he is an Associate and Director of Design.
Photography has been a constant alongside his architectural practice — a parallel language. From his first solo exhibition in Damascus to street work in Barcelona and Seville, his images move between documentary instinct and quiet contemplation. He has lived and worked in Beirut, Barcelona, and Seville, where he is based today.
